Profhilo® stimulates four different types of collagen and elastin deep within the skin tissues. Unlike traditional dermal fillers, it doesn’t sit at specific sites within the skin, but works on a cellular level to it to rejuvenate and revitalise the tissues. The slow release of high-quality hyaluronic acid (HA) means that over time, your skin will recover its bounce and youthful appearance and lines and wrinkles can be reduced.

As with any injectable procedure, there are a few possible minor side-effects to consider when planning your treatments. These include:
All these side-effects are quite normal and will subside within 24 to 72 hours.
Prior to your Profhilo® treatment a topical anaesthetic will be applied to the skin to minimise discomfort. You may experience a slight stinging sensation during your treatment.
We usually advise 2 to 3 treatments, 4 weeks apart, depending on your skin quality and desired results.
Results can vary from patient to patient. Most patients see more hydrated skin with fewer lines and wrinkles for up to 6 months after their initial course of treatment. At that time a further treatment session may be required to ensure the effects are maintained.
